Lake Garda

  For the first week, we were joined by Scott, Angela and Kennedy.
They made a very long journey from Arkansas, but it was well worth it.....
...the views from the villa we rented.

   
 
Our base of operations was a village called Moniga del Garda.
From there, we could take the water bus to the many, many villages on the lake.
Below, we are arriving at Sirmione

     

The entire area of course was Romanic, in the day.
Below is the side of the Roman castle, and its moat leading out to the lake and the spectacular blue sky.




Inside the castle,
you get another just fantastic view of the area.
