Serengeti Plain - the Lions
Here is the show - the big cat - the King!
And we saw a bunch.
Our first sighting was this big old boy - but a
bit far way. |
And then a Mom and cubs - enjoying the afternoon. |

| We saw quite a few lion to be sure.

But the real show began when we came upon a fresh kill. We can't know if the lions made the kill or not. Our Guide, Ahmed figured the Elephant died of natural causes. When dead elephants are found, a Ranger takes away the tusks to sell. This Elephant was tuskless, so to say. |

Very soon, other diners arrived.... |
...and the spectators arrived as well. |
We now have a traffic jam.  |
And even the Lions are curious about the people.  |
This little guy seems to want some help.  |
But his mate is not interested.  |
Just when we thought it could not get better, we found some roadside Lions just trying to get some shade. |

Only two left - the Leopard and the Rhino.
